September is here and the kids are going back to school. The Patriots are starting their season this week end and lets hope that they are ready to go. I know that all of the miscues and sloppiness is out of their system and they will play like the top shelf team that they are. Now the news.

 

August was a good month for the dojo. We ran several camps and they where packed. I know I had a lot of fun and I’m positive the kids did also. Mrs. Sensei and I took our vacation and spent a lot of time relaxing. I hope that everyone had a good summer and I am looking forward to September and all of the things that we have going on.

We are holding the 4th annual end of the summer BBQ / Cookout. The cookout will be held here at the dojo out back and we will provide the Hot dogs and Hamburgers. All families that are part of the dojo are welcome. Please see the flyer for all the details. We are looking for volunteers to help out, see Anita if you can.

 

We are having a Dojo pizza movie night on the 20th. This event is open to students and their friends and family. Space is limited so sign up early.

 

It is that time again for the Watertown Faire on the Square. This year it is on the 27th. The Black Dragon Demonstration Team will be performing at 11:30 on the stage next to the boys and girls club and we will have a table set up. The faire is a great time and there is something for everyone in the whole family to do and enjoy. If you have never been I recommend it. So I’m inviting everyone to come down and cheer on our schools demo team show. 

 

We are starting our annual enrollment contest this month. This year the prize is $300 Dojo Dollars and the contest is very simple. The student that brings in the most new students that join the school wins. Dojo Dollars can be used at the dojo for everything except tuition. See Anita or myself for all the details. To help students with the contest we will provide each student with school pencil’s and back to school ad cards that they can give out. Remember the best compliment you can give your dojo is to refer your friends.

 

We are increasing the price of our tuition starting in October. Anita and I want to give every student who is currently a member the opportunity to lock in their current rate for the next year. So we have decided to let every current student no matter how long you have on left on your current contract the ability to resign and lock in that rate. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me or Anita.
