Monthly Newsletter

March

This is the 81st edition and 3rd issue this year of the Dojo’s newsletter.

Like the saying goes: “March comes in as a Lion and leaves like a Lamb”, I hope that is true this year!

The Hand pad seminar was a hit. We had 16 students and family here learning how to hit the Pads. From the looks of it everyone had a great time.

The Magic Ticket Raffle winner was Katrina from the intermediate 2 class. She chose  not to have to do any push ups during her next test.

Long sleeve shirts are now on sale. 2 for $25 while supplies last.

Become a fan of the Dojo’s  face-book page and get all the latest info about the dojo at craigskempo.com

Don’t forget to check the lost and found bin in the dojo. We donate the contents at the end of every month.

Its that time of year again for the annual dojo Anniversary Dinner. This year it will be on Sunday the 21st from 4 to 6 pm. So come and celebrate with us. The dinner will be held here at the Dojo and catered. This is a free event and is open to the first 100 dojo community members who RSVP.  Contact Anita to save your spot.

We are also holding a Dojo sleep over this Month. It will be a night of games, pizza, and movies. See Anita for all of the details.

After the last camp, we have to institute a new policy. Parents if you are late picking up your child from any dojo event (camp, sleepover,  etc) there will be a $1 per minute fee.  If you have any questions please see Anita for the details.
I want to clarify a point about the no food or drinks allowed in the Dojo policy. The front room waiting area is part of the dojo and no food or drinks are allowed. We are finding discarded food, cups, cans, bottles in the front room.

Training Notes

This month we will be working on kicks in every class.

We are stripe testing the first 2 weeks of the month.
