This is the 78th edition and 12th  issue this year of the Dojo’s newsletter.

December is here and the Holiday season has started. My Family and I wish everyone  very happy holidays. Now on to the News.

During this time of year the dojo collects toys for the toys for tots program. Last year we filled 5 big boxes of toys, this year I would like to fill 6. I am asking everyone who is connected to with the dojo  to please donate a new unwrapped gift. This is a great cause and we should support it.

With winter coming I want to let people know how to get information on snow closings for the Dojo. There are 3 different ways:

1. Message on the Dojo phone after 12:00p.
2. Face book page
3. My blog on the Dojo’s website

Check these after 12 on the day of the storm to find out if we have classes that night.

We are holding a 3 day karate camp this month on the 28th-30th. Space is limited so sign up quick.

Please check this months schedule for the days that we are closed for the holidays.

There is a Pizza, movie night this month on the 12th. This night is going to be a lot of fun.

Just to remind everyone that if you are sick please don’t come to class. This is the flu season and we need to be vigilante in our efforts to keep the spread of the flu to a minimum.

Training Notes

We are working on ground fighting this month in the intermediate classes and above. ALL MALE STUDENTS IN THESE CLASSES MUST WEAR A CUP TO CLASSES!

We are conducting a test on Saturday the 12th. Students will receive their test packets by the end of this week.

Students must have all of their sparring gear marked with their name on each piece and the gear bag must be mark too.

We have openings in the weapons class for any student purple belt or above who wants to join. See me for the details.
